Yoram Meyouhas born in Israel in 1967;

Israeli classical composer Yoram Meyouhas studied at the Buchmann-Mehta Academy of Music in Tel Aviv University with Daniel Binyamini, and conducting with Aharon Harlap.
Previously served as Principal Violist for several major Isrseli orchestras, and recorded radio stations worldwide as a soloist, as well as in variety of chamber groups in Israel and many other countries. 

Meyouhas won a prize in the Israeli Broadcasting Authority Performing Competition, for his performance of one of an Iaraeli piece for Solo Viola in 1992.

As a lecturer, Yoram Meyouhas held in the past his own Radio-Show in the "Voice of Music" radio channel, and Interviwed throughout his compositional career on the radio in Israel and other countries.

Meyouhas is highly recognized for his contributions of Contemporary Classical Music. Among others, he is a Laureate of the 2017 Prime Minister Prize for Composers.

He splits his time between Israel and Germany, dedicating his focus entirely to composing large-scale symphonic works, chamber music, vocal/choral compositions.
Among his large-scale works, his a two-acts Opera on the subject of the Holocaust.

His works have been performed and recorded in various countries as Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Switzerland, USA and Israel.

Yoram Meyouhas's works are published by the Israeli Music Institute (IMI), the Israeli Music Center (IMC) and by "Or-Tav" publication.

Yoram Meyouhas is a Laureate of the Israel Prime Minister Prize for composers (2017);

Winner of Compulsory work for participants in the 2020 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition;

Second Prize - "Spring 2022" International Compettion for Composers of the Vienna Classical Music Academy;

Honourable Award - "Autumn 2022" in the International Compisition Competition of the Vienna Clasdical Music Academy;

Honourable Award - "Spring 2023" in the International Composition Competition of the Vienna Classical Music Academy.
